Forex Risk Disclosure Statement

Forex (FX) trading carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. Forex can be traded with a high degree of leverage, which can work for you as well as against you, and it is possible to loss more than you invest. You should only invest funds that you can afford to lose and do not need to support yourself or your family. You should carefully consider all risks involved with forex trading as well as your financial situation, investment objectives, and risk tolerance before investing. Forex is traded over-the-counter (OTC) and not on a regulated Exchange.

Devrim recovering

By admin • Jun 12th, 2008 • Category: Devrim, Ian, Triton

I don’t know how he does it, I’m showing him up 5 or 6% the last few days, now only off 6-7% on the month.  Still off, but impressive recovery.  May be worth it to add more to accounts when he’s down and time him, seems like a regular occurence.  Risky though potentially quite profitable.
Triton […]

Devrim up Triton up Ian up

By admin • Jun 9th, 2008 • Category: Devrim, Ian, Triton

Better day than Friday for sure.  I need to blog less often and give these guys some space, daily resolution is great but weekly or monthly is more the timeframe most managers are on.
Triton up day, great to see.  Spoke with my friend who was in his chatroom for over a month from 1am on […]

Devrim down down

By admin • Jun 7th, 2008 • Category: Devrim, HVB, Ian

Arg.  Not feeling too well after Friday’s big drawdown on my Devrim accounts.  Looks like b and Robert were right, so much risk.  We’ve been in a similar situations before but not as bad.  I think we’re showing what, 20% down or something with a bunch still on.  I usually drop guys when they exceed their max drawdowns, […]

Blah

Not too excited about the traders the last couple days. Devrim in a fat drawdown now, don’t like that part of his trading at all, he takes on much risk. We’ll see what happens. Leveraging him makes me nervous. Tempting based on his monthly track record, it is always important to understand a trader’s style and […]

Devrim off, Ian up, Triton up

By admin • May 21st, 2008 • Category: 007, Devrim, HVB, Ian, Triton

Devrim off a bunch, looks like about 8% from what I see now.  Yuck.  Been here plenty of times before, still I don’t enjoy it.
Had a great meeting with Ian today, all his trades have gone positive from when I started working with him.  I am such a moron for cutting him off on the […]

New FX Manager update

By admin • May 20th, 2008 • Category: Devrim, Ian, PTI, Swanson

Triton rolling along, doing as he said. He’s up in his own account as he has access to CADCHF, down for me since starting about 4-5% as he doesn’t have access to CADCHF at PFG, which has paid him well. So it goes, CADCHF should be available at PFG soon so we’ll be […]

Ian Statements

By admin • May 16th, 2008 • Category: 007, Devrim, HVB, Ian, Mcelhaney

Ian brought trading statements down today - I’m a believer. Will be getting another account opened for him at ADM soon that he can trade, will be clean and funded and start with reasonable leverage. We had a talk and he is going to trade his style, no pressure or interference from me, […]

Ian allocations

By admin • May 14th, 2008 • Category: 007, Devrim, HVB, Ian

Had some allocation issues with Ian’s program, got them straightened out.  He’s off a few basis points in the last couple days, gave back the 1.2% he was up.  We’ll see how that goes, he’s still confident.  Also he’s bringing  statements down to show me on Friday, so that’s encouraging.  I really want this one […]

Managed FX update

By admin • May 13th, 2008 • Category: 007, Bankedge, BlendedFX, CBM, Devrim, ForexMx, HVB, Ian, Triton

Exciting times - Triton is up his first two days!  I’m pretty pumped about that relationship.  Statements match performance, pretty stellar.  Risk is controlled, trader is responsive, leverage is low.  Numbers are great but not too great ot be unbelievable.  We’ll have down times for certain but great to get off on the right foot, bodes […]

Ian’s trades are back to even, without me, so that’s good.  Pushing him to see statements but if we don’t we’ll just keep running him live until he proves out or fizzles.  Triton first day live, no setups, so no trades.  Devrim trading a bit, up about 1% on the month so far.  HVB to […]
