Genoa Looks at Shortening Trade Timeframe
By admin • Aug 21st, 2008 • Category: 007, Devrim, Genoa, HVB, Triton, UFXSpoke with the Genoa manager at length today. He has always adjusted to the market, shortening and lengthening his timeframe as the markets indicate. He has been papertrading with the shortened hold time in hours instead of days. He says volatility is through the roof and it’s not safe for him to hold the longer term. He’s been about 80% profitable he says. Same strategy, shorter hold times. We’ll see how it goes.
Devrim caught some of the dollar weakening at PFG, good to see.
Rove still off about 5%, Opulen/Forex System Research up a percent or so.
007 up about 4.5% on the month gross I’m told. HVB, Stryder, UFX flat.
Looking to get Triton restarted soon.
