Forex Risk Disclosure Statement

Forex (FX) trading carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. Forex can be traded with a high degree of leverage, which can work for you as well as against you, and it is possible to loss more than you invest. You should only invest funds that you can afford to lose and do not need to support yourself or your family. You should carefully consider all risks involved with forex trading as well as your financial situation, investment objectives, and risk tolerance before investing. Forex is traded over-the-counter (OTC) and not on a regulated Exchange.

Manager watch, delays

By admin • Apr 1st, 2008 • Category: 007, Devrim, ForexMx, HVB, ICT, PR Program, Paskewitz, SPCM, Zone

Delays delays.  Working to get set up still for SPCM and PR Program.  PR have been getting some pushback on our brokerage choice, so going back to them with that info, seeing what we can do.  Would be terrific to get them trading at a non-pip adding FCM if possible.  Ideally we’ll have them at a few houses.  Got their Jan and Feb numbers today, up 19.56% in Jan, up 7.9% in Feb, no trading in March.  We’ll see what April brings, hopefully more of the same, then we’ll all be smiling.

007 had a decent day I hear up over 2%, that’s good to see.  SPCM up on the month already, good after a poor month last month.  Paskewitz up 6%, great work, they are for real, 4 years of positive performance and 80 million under management backs that up.

Had a good call with Devrim and a big client a little while ago, always like listening to him talk, he knows trading, and we’ve seen him back up his talk month after month.  I like that.

On a negative note, forexMx still struggling and haven’t gotten our rebate for extra fees yet, do not like that.  On another negative note Alderon finally burned through probably his last allocation.  And a third negative, heard from a reader who had also lost a ton of money with ICT at a different time than the others, so looks to be a very bad habit of theirs.

Zone down a little bit on the month.

Meeting with HVB tomorrow.  Setting up a meeting with the Atlanta fellows and a Market Wizards spinoff group here in Chicago, we’ll see if anything develops between them.

Working on bringing on some more sales folks, will be good to have them around to help out.  I think these alternative investments are a great diversification for people for a portion of their portfolio.

  1. Great blog, great money managers. I have been reading along your blog and loved the comments I see. I am very interested in the Paskewitz, SPCM and PR Program. Are they ready to accept retail clients and if so, what are the minimums they are accepting?

  2. Thanks for the compliments! Paskewitz is a million trading level (don’t need that much cash), SPCM 25k (also don’t need all cash, can notionally fund some of it), and PR Program is 50k. What else can I tell you? Will email you shortly.

  3. great stuff Tom.
